This class is a rigorous style of yoga like vinyasa yoga. Sun Salutations and Breath work link movement into a flow.
This set sequence requires the body to develop balance, strength, and stamina. This class is an excellent way to build strength, increase range of motion, and vitality. Beginners to moderate – modifications will be taught to accommodate your body’s ability. Ashtanga is based on ancient yoga teachings, but it was popularized and brought to America by Yogi Pattabhi Jois in the 1970s. |
